Yet I don't think that this was the sole show the set was taken from. If the cd's they played at the celebration are an indication it won't be a continous concert. The discs they played were basically a hodge-podge of many shows.

nooo...give them a real *live* show...and yes, make it the paramount one...cause i was there.. but seriously...an unedited live show would blow the roof off...

Personally, I'd prefer the best individual performances from a given tour, such as ONA, for the live CD. Take, for example, the Xenophobia soundboard recording from Indianapolis show. I'm not sure that it was the best version of Xenophobia that he played on the ONA Tour.
In that Indy version, it gets a little tiring for me to hear Prince having to ask the audience members his questions TWICE. "Is it better to be a leader or a follower?" Answer, "Huh?" Prince: "IS IT BETTER TO BE A LEADER OR A FOLLOWER!?" Well, you get the picture. I'm sure there's an equally good or better version of this song from the tour where the audience doesn't force Prince to repeat himself! On the other hand, the Indy version of Strange Relationship may actually be the best of the tour. As far as the possibility of editing goes, no problem. Clean it up, remaster it, whatever, just make it sound great while also capturing the magic of the live performance. So for what it's worth, I'd prefer the best performances sampled from the various ONA venues, and I'd like for them to be properly edited to sound like professional recordings. This will set the CD apart from the highly limited bootleg recordings that are currently available. ___ [This message was edited Wed Aug 21 21:57:43 PDT 2002 by TheMax] [This message was edited Thu Aug 22 7:46:46 PDT 2002 by TheMax] "When they tell me 2 walk a straight line, I put on crooked shoes"
