I really really like "Song of the Heart"

I think it's a cool tune. I love the melody, the little piano licks, the hand clapping, the horns, the beat.

And it's classic Prince, I notice how he blows his own horn when he says:

"I don't care what the people say, this is my life, this is my life. I just got it like that, OK!!"

I knew he was full of himself a bit. : )

I knew that he knows that he "got it like that."

I think God made him short to keep him a bit humble, can you imagine how he'd be if he were 6 feet tall!?

I really like it too. Its lively, happy and very 'jazzy'.
At last he has chosen a really good song to release as a single.I also like it as he is being himself, hes doing his own thing, he's not imitating styles like a lot of his recent work.

It reminds me of starfish & coffee.. which that isnt a bad thing.
I also like the idea of him doing the song for a movie about Penguins who are overwhelmingly associated with acceptable homosexuality, and that he the song is called 'The Song of the Heart' and it says 'You do you" I'll do me' Whatevea!"

Me too! Everytime I hear it, I think of his Starfish and Coffee performance on the Muppet show. They are pretty similar, with the piano vamp, laid back beat, and simple melody. I would be pleased if he did a similarly whimsical video!
Wanna hear me sing? biggrin www.ChampagneHoneybee.com
