Songs I can't find.

I just have a quetion about some songs that I've heard on a radio station that played Prince for 12 or more hours straight on special occasions, i.e. Prince's birthday, and New Years.

There was a song called Soul Psycadelicide...I think that's how you spell it. Anyway, it was written by prince, performed with George Clinton, and the woman that was in the first Batman. Sorry I can't rememeber her name. I'm tired.

That is just one of many other songs that I used to have. Including live recordings and studio recordings. But this one is cool.

It starts out with George doing some talking. Then " What is a booty and how do I know if I'm shakin' it. What is the funk, and how do I know if I'm fakin' it. Soul...psycadlicide..." ect.

What Cd can I find it on?

Prince has his own version of soul psychedelicide ( a very long version of it ) It's on a cd of the same title it's a rehearsal I believe from 85, if I remember correctly. Send me an org note, if u happen 2 be reading this. Peace.

Yeah, it's an unreleased song/jam, there are a few versions, one has Kim Basinger at the beginning, another has George Clinton, another has Prince. I think it is so cool he mentions this unreleased song on Joy In Repetition: "Live music from a band plays a song called "Soul Psychodelicide"
The song's a year long and had been playing 4 months"
and there is a very long version of it, over 10 minutes!

The last one I've read is an extended jam from a rehearsal with the Revolution and apart from the title has nothing in commone with the later version.

Very much so. It's from the Parade tour rehersals, then goes into this long, tedious jam/break-down workout session. It incorporates all kindsa stuff like Ice-Cream Castles.

Oh, the only one I've heard was the one with G. Clinton in the begining but Kim B. singing the chorus, and I think a little bit of Prince. I can't remember. It wasn't a rehersal though. It was an actual studio recording.
But thanks.

I've got the one with Kim on it, but I don't like the song so much
So I don't listen to it often neutral
If you will, so will I
