The longest jam.... I was watching the 1987 Paisley Park new year's eve show last night - the one with Miles - and the finale of Beautiful Night was so super stretched out, I think it must've been going for at least 30 mins.
To my mind I can't recall any single piece played for longer than this, not including rehearsals, so I was wondering, is this the definitive long jam or can it be beaten? "Sheeeeeeeeit" | |

I have a copy of I Would Die 4 U that last 30 mins 41 seconds.
America lasts about 26 minutes. The War was quite long too. A lot of his live jams can go on for ages  Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
