Would you like another 3cd LIVE SET? Was ONA that goodin everybodys' opinion?
What do y'll think about another? I think the sound quality and the playing is amazing but some of the jams are boring on the third disc. I would love another though with plenty of guitar. Prince should use the same sound engineer. [Edited 10/13/06 3:33am]

[Edited 10/13/06 3:33am] The third disc is amazing, although i know what you mean about the peach and girls & Boys jams, i sooooo wanted them to be the actual songs. Its the gem of the box set for Joy In Repetition alone. Throw in The Balld Of Dorothy Parker, Alphabet St, and 2 Nigs, and you've got one mighty CD there. Anyway the answer to your question, yes I would love love love another live CD boxset. Im really glad he started releasing official live stuff, be it the boxset or the individual tracks on NPGMC. He once said how he never wanted to do a live album, because it was only ever one snapshopt, and could never capture the essence of an artists live act. My choice for another release would be CD's of some earlier tours. a trilogy of the Parade, SOTT and Lovesexy shows would be lovely. That said, id also like to see some obscure aftershows released. In a way they're probably more valuable to the fan as they're less documented than most of his major shows. There are 2 of his big shows that i really want though: Nude Tour - Wembley Arena Aug 90 Lovesexy Tour - Rome 88 Cant remember the exact dates, but i have them on record and they have some amazing performances on them (Nothing Compares 2 U, and When U Were Mine respectively) that i would kill to have in soundboard quality. The only thing i hate about soundboard recordings is the lack of audience noise. Couldnt they dub a little bit of that into the mix?

I had ONA on yesterday. Was in a bad mood when I got out of bed. Put Disk 2 on in the car. By the time I got to the office I was on a high.
Yes another live set would be good

I would love to have another live set, professionally recorded.
As someone previously mentioned, the problem with soundboard quality is you lose the audience which dramatically enhances the excitement of seeing him live. Some of the biggest chills I get listening to Prince are poor quality recordings but hearing the audience just lose their mind puts me right there in the audience. A happy medium would be perfect!

Can't say I'm all that interested in official live releases, I'd rather have a studio album.
Maybe some vintage shows, but I don't even think I've ever listened to ONA:Live all the way through since I got it, so any more current show releases would just be another addition to the growing number of Prince-themed dust collectors.

Yeah. But he doesn't need to put any boring accoustical shit on it. That's wasting CD space where several jams could be. Andy is a four letter word.
