List in order how you like Princes covers that he did for Emancipation, here is mine

Honestly,I love them all equally!

one of us sounds like prince's heart and soul was in the vocals.

Personally I think all of them are bad choices and not that good when he covered them. La La La is ok. Not one of them was a funk tune, not that they have to be, but for a 3 disc sprawling effort and to actually do a cover (he doesn't normally) you think he would have chosen something more closer to his style.

I don't know why he chose these songs as covers as he covers different songs in concert and has for a while now.

Not keen on Prince having cover versions on his albums to be honest.
I'd have prefered it if they hadn't been included on Emancipation at all.
It would have been a better idea for him to put all his cover versions together
on one album and keeping his regular albums free of them.

they all sucked. HARD. making cover versions of songs is definitely not his forté.

and appreciate the rock edge he gave it
if he really applied himself, and traded in that damn casio keyboard and kept it with a natural atmosphere it could've been great

P was really in a different place with this music. It's soulful to the n'th power. Along with other music on the CD.

CAN'T MAKE U LOVE ME is the only 1 of the 4 covers that don't like.

Betcha By Golly Wow- I actually liked this when I first heard it. Loved it more when I compared it to the original. Prince just adds more passion.

One of us- Prince simply took ownership of the song...sorry Joan.

I can't make u love me- I liked the way he turned it into something different from the original....didn't care for the original too much.

La, La, La means I love u- More than decent take on a classic! (imo)
