Question about Pruple Rain In the movie "Purple Rain" I notice Prince every now and then corresponds with a young blonde woman. (The one that yelled at Appolonia in the beginning of the film for spilling the drinks and gave P Wendy and Lisa's music tape.)
What is the purpose of her character? Does she like hang around because she's got a crush on Prince or what?  I love a Man who:
Wears More Make Up Than Me. Wears Four Inch Stilleto Boots. Changes His Name To An Unpronouncable Symbol. Who Changes His Name Back From An Unpronouncable Symbol. Oh And Most Importantly, Who Is Sexy Little Drop Of Butterscotch | |

You do know that the blonde lady you're speaking of is Jill Jones? She goes on to be his love interest in the beginning of Graffiti Bridge.
I dunno what her character is supposed to "mean", but she does set up the fact that women are drawn to The Kid before Apollonia shows up. |

Yes, Jill Jones, one of Prince's proteges. I think her part was supposed to be bigger but got cut down. Yes, I think she is supposed to have a crush on Prince in the film but he never even notices. | |

Yes, that's Jill Jones, and yes originally her character was going to have a
bit of a bigger subplot about her having a crush om The Kid too. Also, she originally had a song to sing in the movie too, but it was cut out. (I think it was cut before filming, but I don't know for sure). | |

And I haven't seen "Grafitti Bridge" since I was 12. LOL. I remember "GB" because I had drawn a bunch of sketches of P back then.
