Is it Larry you'd like him to avoid or his association with the JW's?? Just curious. Yeah really, I'm a bit sick of people ragging on Larry. GCS were a great band back in the day and Larry is a kick ass player, always was. Prince is his own man, makes his own choices in life. If folks don't respect him choosing his own path in life, especially in terms of his faith, i question their love for Prince. As for what i'd tell Prince, "avoid rap" . [Edited 10/11/06 12:12pm]

Well, unless a fan tells you that they love your music or something like that. You can tell it "Thank you". Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify

Would be kinda interesting.... Question is: Which one would come out of that changed? "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

[Edited 10/11/06 12:12pm] It's not that people don't respect Prince's choice of religion or Larry's music, it's that people think his large mustachioed buddy is a twat. Circa 1987:
"prince.the daily sales figures for sign of the times just came in and they don't look too good.now i can see where you're going with this artistically but the buying public DOSESN'T." here's a suggestion: why don't you bring the tour to the united states? it's one thing to hear "i could never take the place of your man" but to see this song and others of your choosing would tear the house down! i know it. you brought The Purple moulin rouge funk to europe.let the u.s know who's the baddest musician out there.

I agree with those who said that to go back in time and warn Prince of his mistakes would be in itself a mistake. He is who he is because of them. and I for one love the Prince we see today. imagine if he was warned and he avoided every wrong turn he made. what would he be like today? would we like him as much? would he be the passionate, sexy, very talented man we see today?
Annnnd, I imagine we wouldn't have most of the songs he created from his mistakes. Hmmm....worth thinking about. Now, if I went back in time to tell Prince anything, it would be to bypass all those women he got in involved with and head straight for me. "I'm your one true love." (ha-ha) and secondly I would tell him about the new suspense novel coming out in '06 about him called, CHARMING, ALARMING, DISARMING. the author made him a main character and I believe it's the first time someone has put him or his likeness in a fictional role. It's the best book I've read in a long time. A page turner. He should read it, he'd love it. the author is getting high reviews for that book. It's on its way to the bestseller list. check it out at www.juputer2books.com
