Prince clothing line

Alright, Gwen Stefani, Eminiem and even Michael Jackson have clothing lines. Why doesn't Prince have one? And if he had one, what types of clothing should it sell?

Go! lol

Actually, there was a planned clothing line around 90/91 that included vests, ties, and nice jackets. It was a toned-down version of the Gangster Glam look.

I seem to recall that it was going to be carried at JCPenney, but it never became a reality.

'clothing lines' r for people who dont know themselves well enough to dress themselves.

even though imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, it doesnt really say much for individuality.

YUP - I still have the article. I knew it was suppose to be carried by JcPenney's but I never heared what style/design was going to be out. That would have been great. A lot of yellow and purples. I wonder if we would have been able to get the shirt, pants, shoes and dou rag to match? cool

when is a "line" a garment? if you can't wear a line, where do we draw the line? it's like you said, only different.

Not many people male or female can dress in the styles and colors Prince wears and get away with it.

I'd rock the silk men's sleepwear and an occassional trenchcoat. But it probably ends there.

Joe Bloggs in the UK broght out a line called Sexy MF that also had the old symbol on it.

Most anything we wear is part of a line (Even if it's vintage), unless we make it ourselves. The point of a line is not for someone to get every piece, but to select the pieces that work with our personal styles.

With his size and shape, a children's line would work.

I don't think that would work in the children's clothing line I recommended.

That's funny it seemed familiar to me too, but I didn't do it. It's the first hat that comes up on a Google Image search for "Pimp Hat".

Interestingly it's purple...but then so are many "pimp hats". Why is this? Is purple supposed to be an official pimp color?
All these are from the first results page:
