Pros:

• Introducing Prince to a new generation of audience (parents will take kids)
• A steady stream of income to fund the next album/project
• A more relaxed Prince due to no traveling
• More live performances than touring
• A semi-permanent stage setup allowing for more creativity
• Increased odds of aftershows/jam sessions
• Increased sales of catalog Prince albums (imagine a Prince store within the hotel)


Cons:

• Appearance of "selling out"
• Negative comparisons to Elvis, Celine Dion, Tom Jones, etc.
• Replacing a proper American/World tour
• High ticket prices
• Location (travel) inaccessible to some fans

The high ticket price is the only con that really concerns me.

Cons: Prince gets addicted to the slot machines, starting a vicious gambling downward spiral into poverty and despair.

Pros: He opens the `vault` to fund his gambling addiction!

You usually have to be 18 to 21 years of age to get into a club on the strip. and parents will not take their kids if tickets are 100 dollars or more.I've been to Vegas between the plane fair and the ticket prices your gonna shell out at least 1,000 dollars since 911 nothing's cheap

would he stick to this schedule? How long would he do this because this would be amazing! Imagine if they sold a DVD or CD or download of the actual show. This could rock.

This has huge potential! There is only one con for some fans, and it's travel cost...take away the travel cost and the ticket price suddenly seems VERY doable! For me it's only a 2.5 hr flight and I haven't seen P live nearly enough times so the prospect of him being in Vegas for a while is very EXCITING!
Not to mention Vegas it's self is a hugely fun place to visit.

the last word from Vegas has him booking acts there and joining them from time to time.....so it seems like he's not going to be headlining a lot.....plus the price is not bad ($30 when he is not performing with the acts, and around $100 when he does).....and there are all ages shows here in Vegas so he might be able to do make that happen

Well, I don't see anything wrong with Prince performing in Vegas. If anybody can't afford to go anywhere they can't afford, then they simply shouldn't be going, and that basically applies to any place you can't afford to go, it's as simple as that.

If you can't afford to buy that designer bag, and you know this, then you shouldn't be buying it. If you can't afford that expensive ass coat, then you shouldn't buy it. If you can't afford to take a vacation, then you can't afford to go, so there shouldn't be any reason for anyone to whine about not going to Vegas if you simply, "can't afford it!" Just save your money that's all, then you can afford to go!, comprende?
