Prince on "Designing Women" Okay, I don't know if anyone knows this, but Nick at Night (on the children's station Nickelodeon)is having a week long marathon of 80s sitcom "Designing Women."
Well in an episode I watched last night two of the women, Suzanne (Delta Burke) and Charlene (Jean Smart) won a radio contest and got to run wild in a record store and grab whatever they want. In one scene I saw PRINCE twice. Charlene was shoving a bunch of record off a display and I swear I saw an old Prince record. I forget the title, but it's one of his early ones (Blue background, long hair, no shirt on) and in the background was a HUGE advertisement for the movie "Grafiti Bridge". I was sitting laughing. The hardest rock dude appearing on the most estrogen charged show in history! I love a Man who:
Wears More Make Up Than Me. Wears Four Inch Stilleto Boots. Changes His Name To An Unpronouncable Symbol. Who Changes His Name Back From An Unpronouncable Symbol. Oh And Most Importantly, Who Is Sexy Little Drop Of Butterscotch | |
