after prince watched a private screening of it.

so he tailored the song to fit his idea of what the movie is
all about or the feeling it should bring to the music.

i don't think it has anything to do with his approach for a
new album. although i think you can be pretty sure that there
will be at least one similar poppy-jazz funk song on there as
this seems to be a direction prince is going into more n more.

i just pray his new album will be harder edged with a lot of
guitar and deeper more spaced out funk workouts.

Wouldn't even matter if it was a preview or not, it wouldn't tell you anything about the rest of the music on the album anymore than Te Amo did.

I would really like that it's a nice little song, there will probably be a soundtack for the movie somewhere.

than again those movies circled around music so maybe thats it..
