Considering all these areas of Prince and Prince's world, what is the over-all effect they have had on you? For me, its been one helluva ride, never boring, mostly funny, occasionally depressing, oddly frustrating lol and musically quite significant... not to mention all the love

Meaningful. Moving. Constant. Music and presence that although it may not always make sense...is there to feel. He has always changed. That is one thing he has done fearlessly (or at least it has seemed fearless).He has allowed his music, his performances, and his personality to change. That takes courage. I may not always tear up every single song of his (but close), but he has been a constant in my musical life over a span of 24 years. | |
