Well, you're persevering with this thread even though your last one got locked, somewhat unfairly I thought.
For a start, the actual lyrics are: Hooker, bitch and ho, I don't think so I only knew one and never told her though I thought about it many times Though I must confess I always thought it was 'bitching ho'. Although he says he 'knew one' I don't think it is to be taken literally as someone specific - the lyrics are about the type of language some people use to refer to women, I think he is saying even if you think that of a woman (that she's a bitch) you should refrain from using that language. This ties in when he later says: A woman every day should be thanked Not disrespected, not raped or spanked So it's basically saying that type of language is disrespectful to women even if it has become common parlance in certain parts of society. | |
