perhaps this is an over asked question: what is computer blue about? most of the songs on the album make sense..all except computer blue..perhaps this why i like this song alot.
and what is actually happening in the intro of the song sounds occultish..or like if they are going to drown someone. | |

I think it's pretty simple...
He's just playing with the metaphor of life as a computer - we are all "programmed" to love/lust, the same way a computer is programmed to do a specific job. Kind of reminds me of the movie AI: Artificial Intelligence. The boy/robot is programmed to love someone but that person does not love him back, and this sends his world into chaos.
