Oh and, I hate seeing people who obviously have no freaking clue about real funk, use the words funk or funky in their screen name O.K. Got my Disco funk mixed up with my old school funk, trust me though i really do got da funk!. Seriously though they have got some great trax to bob to. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

If it ever happened which i hope it won't, it would signal the end 4 Prince. He'd become everything i hate.

I like the first album, haven't heard the second.
Yeah, they're not the greatest act in the world but they're FUN! An element which is sorely missing in a lot of popular music right now. They deserve credit for that, if you ask me. Should Prince collab with them? I don't know, but it would be interesting to see, wouldn't it? As for those of you worried about Prince bringing himself down by associating with the Sisters, mind if I bring something up? The proteges. A huge chunk of Prince's pet projects -especially the women -have sucked beyond belief. He's come out of all of those questionable partnerships unscathed. I think it'd be interesting if Prince were to start working with more, let's say, left-field acts rather than performing with Beyonce and hanging out with the Pussycat Dolls. Not saying it necessarily should be the Scissor Sisters, but you get the idea. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

The people laughing at this thread's idea are laughing for the wrong reasons.
Prince would never work with Scissor Sisters because he'd be scared stiff of working with people who actually had talent rather than his normal preferred method of working with people who may just about be able to sing/dance but can do little else, which means that at least he can have control over them (Yeah, there were a few exceptions, but they were just that - exceptions) So yes, this thread's original suggestion is perhaps a little laughable cos we all know that in this case, Prince wouldn't dare take the risk of being upstaged. Regardless of anybody's opinions on Scissor Sisters music, they write and perform their own songs which a couple of million people have clearly enjoyed. They've got a fantastic attitude to music and stardom itself and the way people are reacting to them reminds me of the way people have reacted to Prince in the past 30 years. The lead man looks freaky, people just don't seem to get their music, their sexuality is more than a little suspect and oh my Lord, they swear a bit - how terrible! I seriously think and hope that Prince fans in particular will at least try to take them on board rather than just dismiss them from just a few listens/watches of singles/videos. They've got a depth that goes beyond their flamboyant image and initially shallow sounding songs and they've also got an attitude that screams 'Fuck You!' which can surely only be a good thing.

http://www.youtube.com/wa...IqPFfUPptg that song sounds a lot like a poorly executed revamp of elton john & neil sedaka's "bad blood". Shit! Elton John. That's it. I sat there watching and thinking they sound like a bad retro act of a 70's band. Best thing about the song was the damn guitar. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I love ya!, i think though that this perhaps gives us a slight insight as to how US and European music tastes differ and how possibly we are more accepting of Artists who are not in a niche'. I would urge anyone to compare P's attempts at dance music on 3121 [i.e. incense and candles and love] with the dance numbers on their New cd. Really is no competition, he sounds dated and unoriginal in comparison, after all he is pushing 50 BUT can still kill the Funk numbers though!.
