2007 is almost here do u think we will get a prince album in 2007. i think the only years pricne hasnt released an album was in 1983 and 2000. Do u think prince will tour ? Maybe Prince will finally release Crystal Ball 11.

he did release an album in 1997..i think . Wasnt "The Truth" released in 1997 on the internet , then in 1998, became apart of teh Crystal Ball CD.

oh and thats a 2 not a evelen (11) . Ive done sum searches about Crystal Ball 2, and its labeled Crystal Ball 11.

You could order 'Crystal Ball' through 1-800 NEWFUNK during 1997. But it only started to ship in 1998. It wasn't released separately. Only a CD single (featuring 'The Truth' and 'Don't Play Me') had been available previously.

The NPG Orchestra's 'Kamasutra' was released on cassette through 1-800 NEWFUNK at the beginning of 1997 before it featured on CD in the 5CD version of Crystal Ball.

So, to re-cap, the years with no Prince album release were:

1983
1993 (The Hits counts for something, but not a full album)
1997
2000
2005

Notice that during the WB years, only 1983 and 1993 had no release. During the NPG years, 1997, 2000 and 2005 all had no release.

Yes, I thin we'll get an album and a tour!

At the end of 2006 we are getting a remasted box set and a new album.

The tour will be announced for 2007 shortly thereafter. He'll be on tour during the Superbowl.

since the ulimates got release it would not make marketing since to do a box set. . .none at all from WB OR PRINCE. . what would make since is a brand new cd release. . a;ll new music not even bootlegged stuff. .

He should do an album that is in the vein of "Sign O Times" give the feel, make people remember what happened in 1987.

I doubt it. It looks like Prince is finally doing what everyone else does these days....releasing an album every two years....which is fucking rediculous.
