Signs was better than Unbreakable. And Unbreakable was better than (the terribly overrated) Sixth Sense. So things are moving in the right direction for mr Shyamalan, IMO. Give him two or three more movies to grow as a writer. Then we´ll get to see truly great stuff coming from him, and not "just" the solid entertainment we´re getting now.

I thought that it was an okay movie, but it was ruined for me by a certain group of individuals who kept yelling at the movie screen, screaming and shrieking at the top of their lungs, jumping up and down out of their seats and running out of the movie theater every time anything even remotely frightening happened... the actions of this group of individuals destroyed any real tension that could have been created with the movie...

I thought that it had promise, but these people ruined the damned thing.

Why do some dumbasses talk to the fucking screen???

Just saw it,i thought it was cool.Kinda old school with suspense on your mind with storyline and not special effects.Could have been better, but so could everything else(except THE MATRIX and BLADE)

Signs was positively incredible! Mr Shyamalan is truly coming into his own as a director. If he keeps this up, he may come in just behind Lynch and Kubrick for me!

Ice9 is self projecting again, always speaking about what he does as the third person. Next time, eat plenty of pop corn and that should occupy your mouth long enough so others can enjoy the movie.

We had a bunch of kids behind us - I kid you not, they must have JUST turned 13 to be able to see that movie. They would scream and talk and scream some more whenever they got the chance. Finally somebody in my party turned around and threatened them very loudly - then the whole audience started clapping. It was great!

As for the film, I thought it was scary, until the stupid, cheesy ending. And the religious undertones were bothersome as well.

(I also find aliens the second scariest supernatural being, right behind zombies, which is probably why I found the film so frightening.)
I mean, like, where is the sun?

I saw it yesterday, an excellent film that I can't wait to get on DVD when it comes out. I might even see it again in the theaters.

Tell me about it, brother IceNine. The same story when I went to see Episode II. Some dumbass down front had something to say to everything. At one point, Anakin was talking about his weaknesses, all you hear is, "YEAH, AND YOU CAN'T FUCKING ACT EITHER!"

At any rate, there's no real reason going to a movie anymore. Not if you intend to see the film. Just wait til it comes out on video. Cheaper anyhow!
