October 14 is only a couple of weeks away...  Controversy (1982) © Allen Beaulieu on that particular date, it's the 25th anniversary of the release of controversy. is anybody 'round here planning on giving it the anniversary treatment like i did for dirty mind last year? | |

I can't imagine that he really meant the audience. It fits the lyrics he sings from Party Up at that moment though, so I think it was meant to refer to that. | |

I can definitely see why you would think that. But I personally was kinda bothered watching it because the crowd was so LAME. Not moving around or feelin' it or anything. And I just think maybe P was frustrated at that and used the flipping off during Party Up as like a 'fuck ya'll then' with them being none the wiser, because, like you said, it fits the moment. If he was really having a good time I'm not sure he would've done that...  " | |
