Elton John was quoted in the New York Times on April 23, 1992, as having said: "He may be prettier than me, but he's way shorter than me, and you can tell that funkyblues that, once I kick this cocaine habit, he'll be weirder than me, too!"

I swear. nod

Elton John isnt pretty at all. LOL. I heard elton was getting n2 rap wand wanted 2 work with 50 cent. Thats how stupid elton is and i dont even think elton deserves 2 even comment on prince.

Couldn't you have phrased that better?

Was it just me, or did someone else get a mental image of...

nevermind...
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I heard they had some negative things to say about eachother in the past, but I'm sure they're cool now. P said something in a interview about seeing Elton at a concert, and Elton sang right to him. He said it was a great night. I love them both. Elton was the first singer I ever took notice of (at the age of 3) and Prince came along 10 years later and rocked my world! cool

I think they only have respect for each other. Elton John may be a little loony at times. But he's a great artist and have the catalog to prove it. Prince ain't no slouch either.

they respect each other. I love both of them they are both great stage men, I mean Elton knows how to wow his audiences, like with Prince u go and see em perform u get more than just the album played out loud.
Maybe Prince is down on himfor waving his homosexuality in everyones face too much, Prince aint really into statements like that.

I read somewhere that Elton once said that Prince releases too much material.

Prince once ignored elton; just like he did with stevie ray vaughan. Elton tried to say hi but prince blanked him.

They were talking at an after party though this year that elton threw so Prince must respect elton as a fellow real musician.

Prince mentioned this in an interview he did with Q magazine to promote New Power Soul in 1998. I think, but I cant be sure, that he was recalling a conversation he'd had with Elton where Elton had said he needs a producer of some kind to reign him in and give a bit of quality control, to which prince was like "my music, ill do what I want", but i didnt sense any beef between the two. Two highly prolific artists, and talented musicians probably have mutual respect for each other.
