scandalous,batdance,the future and BATMAN-the summer of 89! wasnt the summer of 89 mental-people went fucking batnuts!
i remember going to the movies just to see the trailer!! remeber princes secret trip to london before he officially signed up(thanks controversy mag!) prince and kim basinger on the front of THE SUN just listening to the batman soundtrack-okay not a "classic"but theres enough dichotomies,strokes of genius..and BATDANCE to make this a wee gem. why o why didnt he include'dance with the devil' instead of trust ill never know but hey! and the FUTURE? funk at its coldest! man-i dig this album! | |

I remember seeing it in the theater...I remember during the Joker throwing money around to "Trust" and Prince singing "Sex..it's not that kinda paaartay" and my eight year old self cringing at that part because my dad was right next to me...
