I love that version! Totally sums up the sound and style of the Lovesexy era. Ya get to hear his guitar properly it's not buried in the mix like on the album version.
There's another unreleased remix of Alphabet St which is also quite cool but 'This Is A Trip' is still my fave  [Edited 9/22/06 14:00pm] if you've gotta pay for things that you've done wrong I've gotta big bill coming at the end of the day- Gil Scott Heron

This was the first 12inch I bought. I loved the b-side, it's just this odd track that matches the oddity of the album and Prince himself, the flavour of Alphabet Street without being just a remix with some house drumbeat added. I love the b-sides where it is obvious Prince has worked hard to create an entirely new track. | |
