I actually have no favorite Prince songs for troubled times. They all lift my spirits but these are some I frequently listen to when I am in the mood to relax. And Adore is absolutely my favorite song of all times!

I have to stop this list for a second and say that if Prince had been making music as good as Shockadelica for the last 15 years, I would have a tattoo on my fucking forehead.

Erotic City (7" or 12" mixes, I take what I can get)
The Beautful Ones
TMBGITW (Mustang Mix) - like digital panty remover
The Ride all versions except The Undertaker)

I love so many, many more, of course. This is just what I can think of right now.

Damn 9's...it's too difficult to pick 5 but I'll try. BTW, I think Adore is highly overrated. It's a good song but Top 5? I think Scandalous is just as good if not better. It's tough not to say Joy in Repetition and Question Of U but my current favs often reflect the most recent music.
