The mixing is horrific! I know Prince was 100% happy with his voice then but DAMN you can hardly hear him. The music however sounds pretty damn good! naaah....really?.....ya think?.... Stand Up! Everybody, this is your life!

Simply put the sonic into your sound chain as the LAST unit in the chain before it goes to the amp. As a test: Hook your cd out to your sonic in. Hook your sonic out to your cd in of your amp. (if you are using a home system) You will see a BIG difference in the DETAIL of your sound. | |

Analog recording form 25 years ago is the WAY to GO! New recordings sound like shit IMHO. I make great recordings on 4 track cassette, thank you very much. digital can suck it. Amen! When you disconnect the analog feeling from the recording to a pristine and almost flawless recording, it takes the personal connection to the music/artist away. Digital and analog both have their places, IMO, but it should be realized that this was over 20 years ago that this recording was made. I think that for doing it at that time in a home recording studio at that, the quality is great! I am MrVictor.... | |
