A few weeks ago, the subject of who would play Prince in a movie came up. I still think that Prince should play himself, but if that fails I came up with a new person. I was watching a TV special on that crazy dude David Blaine (the dude who stayed in the ice cube for 3 days) and he looks alot like him. It maybe just my opinion but I thought he could pull it off.

I don't remember Prince looking permanently stoned
or levitating his ass on the street tho.

Yeah! I think David Blaine does have that mysterious aura about him, I know where you are coming from littleredcrvt, but I cannot visualise him in any of Prince's clothes, nope David just wouldn't look right!!!

My first thought was Chris Kattan. He's small, has some of the same features (ok he'll need a little self tanner), crazy as hell. I think he could pull it off.

I'm sure it was Chris Tucker (Rush Hour etc) in The Fifth Element. He plays a futuristic funky rock/pop star. I swear he just is playing Prince, his mannerisms, eyes, outrageous clothes. The people I was with when I saw it (admittedly a few years ago now) all said the same thing. That Prince would have effortlessly played that character and that Chris Tucker was basically doing an impression of him.
