THE GOOD STUFF! Just a quick note:
This idea came to me... Since everybody in the darn world likes to hear the bad stuff about people how about this thread being the GOOD stuff about PRINCE! EVEN if ya don't know him directly ... just be positive and why the heck not POSITIVE needs to be up in here a bit. I shall start! I have never seen him rude to anybody... I know he is a gentleman...(FACT) Have I met, yes, the above applies! NOW your turn to show some positivity for the heck of it becuz it's about time people did! I like christos7's answer: insightful and inspiring. I'd add empowering; as a teenager I found comfort hearing that sexuality and spirituality weren't mutually exclusive. Oh, and of course there was the bloody great music. | |

He's a very hard worker. His work ethic is amazing. He is not a lazy person. He demands 200% out of the people he works with not to mention himself. You can't help but admire that he didn't come from much and using his talent to create finnacial security for himself. | |

What I most admire about him is how determined and intelligent (as spoken explicitly by his early managers) he was at such a young age. He seemed very focused in knowing what he wanted to accomplish as far as being a musician. I love reading stories about how he got started. | |

I am new and do not know Prince as well as most of you. I just know what I read and see recently. Sorry, if my comment seems to be a reason instead of something from the heart. I really do love the way Prince handles himself in public. I never saw him act mean in any way. Prince is very oringinal in every song. He is one of the fewest people I know that can do everything and still keep some kind of power through it all.It is a demanding job to give people what they want, but if you give yourself openingly and freely, than you will be better off.  | |

He cares about his work. He tries to perform the best to his ability. He truly gives it his all.
When I ran into him at a hotel,after he got in the van, he waited so I could say hello to him. He and his entourage could have drove off, but he waited. This I will never forget. He is the best performer in the world. | |

I read onc that Prince likes to stop at the side of the road and rescue animals that have been harmed by accidents of the traffic kind. I've an email from a person who owns a photo of a guy who once drive past Paisley Park, who sa6ys that he saw Prince once stamp on the ground in frustration as he had missed an easy shot to 'bag a rabbit'. Apparently, Prince was later assuaged with nougat. | |
