what eras do you think should be concentrated on the most? I mean, even with a mini series you can't tell the entire story of Prince's life.

Well,for starters his birth and his troubled early family life just to set the basis

I think it's a given that they'd focus on the slave and purple rain era.

I'd like to see some focus on the early years as well as the DM era, Emancipation era and the Rainbow Children era.

i'm sure the symbol/slave years would have more than a few oscar-winning moments.

But who would play Mayte' and Mani now that's the real question

Oh that's easy! 1978 to 1988, of course! With proper respect given to the years that followed, up until present day. With special attention given to the now. Damn, I should whip out Final Draft 7 and get to work!! That's the only way I know it'll be done right!!

I thought Purple Rain was semi auto biographical, meaning Prince had quite a say in the portrayal.
Any unauthorised 'biography' created by Hollywood probably wouldn't b a true and accurate reflection, just some1s twisted point of view.
