How Different might have Prince's earlier Records

Sounded with a More Heavy Outfront Bass Grooves dominating His Sound to You? I noticed in the early 90's the Bass being outward far more&that threw me for a loop.thoughts:

That booming bass sound of the 90s would probably drown out the more intricate sounds prince is noted for throwing into the mix. Imagine "Lady Cab Driver" or "All the Critics ..." with that huge booming bass. Blah.

Then again since very little of his earlier work has been remastered we really might be missing more pronounced bass and just don't know it smile
