lol - I clicked on this expecting it to be a Tina Graham towel-whipping cassette...

This was a very odd release. An 8-track EP that basically would put people off buying the album - why would you when you have most of the tracks here instead?

Are any of these edits?

From what I remember that was the only version of the 1999 (despite what it says on the cover) album available in Paris when I went there on a 2 week holiday in 1985ish. Always thought it was just a French release... and have always regretted not buying it (not sure why though!). What's the other non album track though?

DMSR was ommitted from the CD version (don't know about tape) originally due to length limitations at the time. I'm guessing that is the 'extra' track they are referring to.

eye remember the picture on the cover, but eye don't recall that release with DMSR as an extra track, when it was part of the North American album version.

Ok I have just dug out my single album copy of 1999.

The tracks are:-

Side 1

1999
Little Red Corvette
Delirious

Side 2

Let's Pretend We're Married
Something In The Water (Does Not Compute)
Lady Cab Driver

Therefore the extra tracks are 'How Come You Don't Call Me Anymore' and 'DMSR' geek

I found a vinyl edition of this back in the late 80's, but it doesn't have "How Come U Don't Call me Anymore" on it.
