Also, hasn't Mike Scott shown up a couple times, too? And what about Tamar? Is she part of the band or not? The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Could not agree with you more. I just got the Hotel California show and while the 3121 tracks sound great live (imo), the band is sloppy and not tight at all. The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Wasn't Mr. Hayes his keyboardist before? Usually when P changes bands it is because it is time for growth, to head in a new direction. I'm not quite sure where this one is going yet. Just have to wait and see. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

Mike Scott is in Justin Timberlake's band. [Edited 8/16/06 15:39pm] Silence Speaks A Thousand Words.

I have this feeling that they are some fill in band, there to help Prince will early promotion, but I doubt they would be the touring band, if there is a touring band. They could actually be just Tamar's band, and Prince would get another band. A good theory, I'd say. All you others say Hell Yea!!

Prince needs an all female band. That would be the sexiest tour on the planet. And the tour can be called, "Prince and his Women." Drums - Cora Dunham Congas - Sheila E Bass - Rhonda or Meshell Ndegeocello Keys - Lisa Coleman Guitar/Vocals - Wendy Melvoin Backing Vocals - Jill Jones
