Once I started reading "Possessed" by Alex Hahn, I just couldn't put it down. I figured out a long time ago that Prince was not the perfect man that so many of his fans believe him to be and that book just solidified that realization. I love Prince but I learned to seperate the Entertainer Prince from Prince the person.

Besides, Alan Leeds, who should know better than many and actually cooperated with Alex Hahn in writing the book, himself said "Possessed" was the most accurate of what actually happened during his time with Prince, that he had ever read. I know there are some fans that do not like the book because it does indeed show a ugly side of Prince, but I have to say most of the book is very believeable.

I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

I haven't read any books about Prince yet, but what an amazing tale his life would make! Could you even fit it into one book? Doubtful....

Oddly enough I've read nothing (besides what's in the occassional magazine).

Now wouldn't thos stories about him which aren't true be considered fiction???

bjork	I forgot to mention. for all those interested in reading a good suspense, juputer2books.com has a contest going on. five people will win a free copy of the author's new novel--charming, alarming, disarming in a random drawing. I enjoyed the story so much that I had to mention this. It's a book with a big Prince influence people. and it's GOOD!
