Guitar Solo In "Gett Off" and "3121" sound similar

Gett Off (ext vers) 7:30-7:49 of song. 3121 3:45-4:05 of song roughly.

don't know the timd for the "Gett Off" single

Isn't there something similar there? Maybe same guitar and effects. Or, maybe just me.

Same topic different songs - the guitar solo on the Insatiable Sex Suite is a slowed down version of the guitar solo on Dear Michaelangello off Romance 1600.

eehrm....i' ve noted a few similar instrumental details, like the string-sections (synthesizer) in the beginning of Te Amo Corazon reminding me of the arrangements during the Purple Rain Tour 1984/85....and on the wonderful "Love" is a sample which had also been used by DJ Tomekk...this is confusing... eek

I'm sure the Gett Off riff is lifted from a Funkadelic jam. Can't remeber what it is though.

Speak in english... sample still?

I thought there were samples on the 3121 album but are you sure?

I don't know if it is Prince playing the solo on Romance 1600, but it surely is Prince playing on the Scandalous Sex Suite (I'm assuming). Either way, the solo is near note for note identical.

no, none of them sampled each other. they used only the same samples, but dj tomekk did it some time before prince.
