I'm not from Scotland but soon I am moving to the very north of England...so IF Prince plays in Scotland, I will be heading up there, rather than London. barf wink

There are a few Scottish fans around...there were all out in force to engage in some England bashing during the world cup...but now seem to have disappeared. wink

Some scottish artists that I dig: The Silencers was one of my fav bands ("A letter to st Paul" & their 2nd album are great records), + Lloyd Cole & The Commotions + the first Hipsway album, ah the memories...

How's this for a bitch; I missed Prince last time he played SECC in...95? (correct me if I'm wrong, was still in High School)
Anyway, clocked the adverts, did a few cartwheels, then asked parents for money, was met with stoney look, "It's bad enough you listen to that poof in your room, we're not giving you money to go see him live!!"
However, fair readers, the bold Snake was not to be outdone by this parental display of idiocy, and began the long, painful hunt for spare pennies for a ticket, not easy without a job!!
So, the bold Snake finally scrapes the money together, persuades parents to go through to SECC to buy said ticket, only to find both nights have great big SOLD OUT signs all over them...
To make it even worse, the bold Snake's friend came into school after the concert, waving the program around.

Grr, most annoyed and more than a little disappointed was the bold Snake...

Lol...I can relate to that. lol The amount of grovelling I had to do to be able to see Prince in '95.
Despite now being 24, my parents still take every oppertunity to diss him. Good thing I don't have to ask them for money anymore. smile
