did any of u org members buy the rave un2 the year 2000 i brought it i watch the bonus groovez and i saw when prince performed flashlight this fat white chick was trying 2 get close wit him. it iz funny. and do u org members know when prince does the splits he only does 9 and he says he does 14. | |

I bought it as soon as it hit the stores in the UK.
Thought it very cool indeedy. But then U compare it 2 SOTT and it seems more of a programme than a videod concort. If U see what I mean. "...because no-one gets there alone." - "...I like the floor. It's the only thing that seems real." | |

I bought the audio cd,but not the dvd.I had it on video tape 4 awhile,then i taped over it.just too rehearsed. | |

It was slamming video. Matter fact of all the Larry bashin thats been said; musically when Prince and Larry faced each other and did they little Jam was cold! Also when P went to the Keys in Darkness and started Jamming was also another kick moment; also when P walked up the ramp playing Purple Rain; there many other Gett Off/ Highlights!!! | |

I was there and it was better live. I don't like how they edited it and it's too dark and smoky. My main complaint was that there was too much Larry and Company and not enough Prince. ______________________________________________

The DVD has a great 5.1 channel mix (crowd noise in rear speakers as they should). Most concert DVDs are very shitty in this regards. The colors are really vibrant and the picture is sharp as a tack. Throw out your VHS now! If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

yesyesyes...  've got it!! watch it frequently... must get SOTT... don't 'ave it...yes, bac 2 what i was sayin'... love the way 'e walks down the stairs when 'e's about to perform "Get Off" ('E's a SM)... luv it when 'e does the "Blues Medley"... luv it when 'e...awww shit... luv the DVD period. Prince is so talented and FYNE...  Gotsta find me a man like THAT!

Got it on VCD in Singapore (not DVD). It's the only Prince movie I've found on VCD and at first I thought it might be a boot, but it's an official release.

The rave was broadcasted on canal plus NL and damn i missed it. I wait for the replay and than put it on video. About the rave i don't have an opinion yet ,must still see it. | |
