Who still has the Prince Comic Book?

Cool art work. I have only one issue. Were there more done?

Anyone know the story behind who produced them and why. Was prince involved?

I've not yet even seen these. I've thought of getting them off ebay just for the morbid curiosity.

Is there anything worth checking out?

What's the story line like?
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.

I have all 3 of them. I think the first is about this bad guy named Spooky Electric who fucks people up when he plays. The guy kinda looks like Rick James if I remember correctly. There is also this great scene where Prince rolls up on his motorcycle to some gang members who are causing trouble. One guys has a bat and gets in P's face. Prince does this move straight out of the pages of Batman, disarms the guys, break the bat over his kneee or some shit like that, and they all realize they better not fuck with the 5' 2" superhero of Minneapolis. Pretty hilarious!

The second is a story about saving Princess Mayte. I can't remember much about it all. The artwork I think was much better in the first.

The third was a comic-bio. Basic stuff we already knew about Prince, but I remember it talks about the song BatDance and says that at end of the song Prince is screaming "Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson" over and over again. I think they were referring to the part of the song when he is screaming "Don't Stop Dancing". I guess if you listen to the song with the Michael Jackson thing in mind you it might sound that way, but why anyone would think that is what he's saying in beyond me.

I was a big comic collector at the time and have multiple copies of each of them. I haven't them for a while.....maybe I'll put them on Ebay.

Yeah I got all three of them too. The two from DC comics are actually good. They make Prince out to be a bad ass Bruce Wayne type with incredible fighting skills. I'm a big comic collector as well as a big Prince fan so they were a must have for me.

I don't think it looks like he was on steroids. Maybe it looks like he was eating food at the time.

Sounds bizarre.

He also appeared in a 2000ad strip called Tyranny Rex, drawn by Steve Dillon.

Funny thing about this is that I have the comic book, It's probubly boxed up somewhere at my mothers house. The Prince comic where he has on the leather jacket with the frings hanging is very familiar as well. I had one just like it and I even designed & drew his name on the back of the jacket in gold lettering, long story short I wore it to a club one night where my friend was djing; put it down, came back and it was gone. It was a really cold night, snow storm and all, I hopped in a cab and called it a night.
