Daniel Johns/Silverchair, although P is a very close 2nd, he hasnt done an album quite like Diorama yet, and until P lets other people help him with his music I dont think he could make a masterpiece like Diorama until he does!
And even tho Silverchair only have 4 albums soon to be 5, They really only need Neon Ballroom & Diorama for me to like them more than P im sorry.
Diorama to me is a rainbow of music all the way through, and P has come close to that, but hasnt made a full album that flows and is sooo vibrant and happy like Diorama is.
Disagree with me as much as you want but if you havent heard the album you wont know what im talking about.....Listen to Tuna In The Brine by Silverchair and you will understand what i mean by a rainbow of music!

Do I need have one?

I'm strangely attracted to female singers. I believe it is because my mother use to sing to me at night, after she had a few too many drinks, but nonetheless.

I grew up on FM radio man. I need many many artists for my life's soundtrack. Prince would be lucky to make the list.

Mine was Hendrix till i found out how abusive he was; totally turned me off.

Overall Prince is the best man; although unoriginal Led Zeppelin also sound fucking awesome too.

I love the red hot chili peppers but thier albums are unlistenable becuase of the mastering.

actually, i'd say i'm 50/50 with prince and bowie in terms of who's my favorite. i get tired of one for a while, i pick up with the other till i'm burnt out. i'd probably be a bigger bowiephile if there were a david.org where i could fam out more often.

one green eye one blue? something like that? i watched a movie the other night called practical magic where sandra bullocks character wished for a man with attributes she thought couldnt possibly exist so he'd never turn up becuz there's no way he could exist and she'd never fall in love and get hurt. one of them was one blue eye one green.

Great! Next to Prince I would also say Trent Reznor, NIN is just fabulous. Glad to see a kindred spirit here. And there is a connection: am I crazy or is there a Prince sample (from Partyman, Purple party mix) at the end of Ringfinger?

IIRC Trent used a sample from Alphabet St on Ringfinger. He also used samples from Tambourine and Release It on one of the remixes of Head Like A Hole.
