In fact it's most likely Prince himself in the studio
while he was recording the vocals.

There's what initially sounds like a vinyl click at about 2:48, but I'm pretty sure it's Prince slapping his hand (immediately afterwards he exclaims "Bitch!"). Then again at 2:57 there's some noise like a bit of a scuffle.


Yeah it's all meant 2 b there. Prince was clearly angry and bitter about some1 when he recorded that song. It sounds like he takes anger out on the mic whilst recording it. I think it's quite atmospheric!

OK. Does somebody of U notice the interferrence noise at the end of 'Little Red Corvette'?
It's also on the 12""
