Tracks like 'Underneath the Cream', 'Supercute' & 'The Daisy Chain' r just sooo damn funky and classic PRINCE that they make Rainbow Children seem a little flat!!! "Baby she comes from east LA, everytime i c her body on display" I sincerely want 2 fuck the taste out of your mouth

Supercute is good..and would go over well commercially IMO but Daisy Chain doesn't do much 4 me, but it is the usual funkiness I would xpect from P.
I can't stand "High"...I think it sounds extremely outdated and the same thing goes 4 "Peace." Kinda glad this album wasn't released Daisy Chain just isn't strong enough, as well as others. IMO, of course.

I think I may b the only one who dislikes this would-be album...lol.

Actually, The Daisy Chain was intented for High. Originally, the cut was going to be on an NPG ablum, entitled Peace, along with the title cut and 2045 Radical Man. This disc was scrapped in favour of High (which, of course, was scrapped itself in favour of TRC).
The High album went through several configurations, but the one that seems closest to a final version was, as follows: 1)High 2)My Medallion 3)Va Voom 4)U Make My Sunshine 5)When Will We B Paid? 6)Golden Parachute 7)Silicon 8)Supercute 9)Underneath The Cream 10)Sex Me, Sex Me Not 11)The Daisy Chain 12)When I Lay My Hands On U 13)Gamillah Hope this helps! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Where do you guys get this shit? Silicon and Sex Me Sex Me Not had NOTHING to do with HIGH. According to UPTOWN, who actually do research on this stuff - this sequence was on a CDR that Femi Jiya worked on: Supercute Underneath the Cream Golden Parachute When Will We B Paid The Daisy Chain Gamillah High My Medallion U Make My Sun Shine When I Lay My Hands On U

They're not the only ones who can do research, y'know! Silicon and Sex Me, Sex Me Not were born out of the High sessions, but at a later date (hence, the reason they weren't included on the track listing Uptown had). If you are only going to base your knowledge on an article in Uptown, then it will be incomplete. Do you really think that track listing you cite sounds like a finished album? Does UTC sound like it would be the second track on a Prince album? I actually heard a few different configurations of this album, months before NPGMC released these cuts. The album, like almost every project Prince has ever worked on, went through many different sequences. I have no doubt that, if Prince hadn't abandoned the project, that it would have evolved even further. By no means was I claiming that the sequence I listed was final, but that it was fairly close. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

Dave; I apologize for sounding off like that. I wish that there were more official ways of obtaining this information. You say you were able to hear several configurations of the HIGH project. Were they CDR's? It would be great to send information like that to UPTOWN so it can be more widely distributed. Or post images from the CDR's on prince.org or something. Otherwise it's just rumors isn't it?
