I know it's really none of my business, but since celebrities earnings are always publicized I pose the question, since Michael Jackson is now so "broke", do you think Prince's earnings/assets now exceeds Michael's? It is always hush/hush (which he should be) about his earnings, I know he made more than others' tours a couple of years ago but I just wondered if his overall earnings are greater than most. My niece and I were talking, she asked me who probably had the most money, Prince or Jay Z or Sean Puffy, I told her probably Prince but I don't know, Puffy flaunts his money. What do you think about MJ and Prince, Prince and Puffy and Jay Z concerning who has the most money?

I think MJ has a lot of assets, such as real estate and song rights, etc. it's just that he hasn't any actual cash to pay off debts.

You would think Prince would be loaded, but he does spend a lot on a high living lifestyle - such as $60,000 a month renting his LA mansion a while back. Plus he may lose a lot in this divorce. There was a BBC program a few years ago where they try and work out how much celebrities are worth, they did one on Prince, I can't remember what the total was, around 30-50 million, but that was before the $50 million success of the Musicology tour.

Puffy owns a very successful record label plus other enterprises, he's probably richer than Prince these days.
