Bullshit

P has never known what cut to release as a single.

He always thinks that the one he choses is going to go all When Doves Cry and start a whole new era of music.

Then when it doesnt he gets whiny/bitchy and "moves on to his next project."

Because American Life was given bad reviews by critics and then there's the fact that Madnonna is looked at as a commercial artist who usually does 6 to 9 million worldwide....3121, for the most part, was given strong reviews...And for an artist like Prince, validation from the critics trumps album sales...

madge doesnt sell that much anymore...(not to take away from the rest of your argument)...

Actually, her most recent CD 'Confessions On A Dancefloor' sold over 8 million copies worldwide, which is not what I would consider a "flop".True, she doesn't sell records like she did in the 80s,but her music never has trouble finding an audience.

Sorry to interrupt...you can get back to your discusssion lol

Madonna is a goddess and you have to admit, confessions on a dancefloor is a lot more and catchy than 3121, but not a better album. Why did it sell 8 million copies and the singles are still on the radio, nearly a year after Madge put it out, because SHE PROMOTES THE FUCK OUT OF IT and shes touring with it.
