i have only seen snippets of Green Day and Red Hot Chili Peppers .... i have seen U2 and Prince live ....
U2 and Prince are VERY different ... and ... both .... have their positives ... i think one of the over-riding things i have to say ---- is that didnt Bono say that Prince was the best LIVE performer ... or ... right up there .... comparing Prince and U2 tho ... i have to say .... i would pick Prince any day of the week .... i loved the U2 concert i went to .... but .... seriously ...i dont think U2 is that exciting in concert .... i found them somewhat bland and predictable ....  | |

Why would Red Hot Chili Peppers be considered a good live act? I'm not hating, I'm just asking because I've only seen TV performances here and there. Can you anyone share some info on the their concerts? | |

Agreed. Notice he's the only black act on the list. And probably the oldest. That's what strikes me: the fact that it's "greatest live bands NOW" -- and he's still head and shoulders above the young bucks in their prime, after thirty years in the game. The Normal Whores Club | |
