i have only seen snippets of Green Day and Red Hot Chili Peppers .... i have seen U2 and Prince live ....

U2 and Prince are VERY different ... and ... both .... have their positives ... i think one of the over-riding things i have to say ---- is that didnt Bono say that Prince was the best LIVE performer ... or ... right up there ....

comparing Prince and U2 tho ... i have to say .... i would pick Prince any day of the week .... i loved the U2 concert i went to .... but .... seriously ...i dont think U2 is that exciting in concert .... i found them somewhat bland and predictable .... confused

Why would Red Hot Chili Peppers be considered a good live act? I'm not hating, I'm just asking because I've only seen TV performances here and there. Can you anyone share some info on the their concerts?

And probably the oldest. That's what strikes me: the fact that it's "greatest live bands NOW" -- and he's still head and shoulders above the young bucks in their prime, after thirty years in the game.

They're really high energy performers, or at least they used to be.
