The first person who starts to brag about 'too much cowbell' on this song, i will slap around biggrin

I mean, there are some secret codes on 'the org' that seem to have to be followed to 'fit in'
- constantly talking negative about Tony Mosley
- expecting 'newbies' to know all about the 40 cd's Prince has released
- saying there is 'too much cowbell' on Endorphinmachine.

I dont go along with that kind off bullshit, the energy and sound of this song benefits from 'the cowbell', there you have it.

As I've said before, I quite like the Cowbell and effects on the finished
version. The only thing about the released version I'm not so keen on is that
there's too much synth on it mirroring the guitar riff. The riff should be
unaldulterated guitar! Adding synths in there instead of a second guitar track
just weakend the song a bit IMO.

LOL!! I agree, the cowbell fits nicely in with mix, not once did I ever listen to it and say 'wow this is great but they have to get rid of that annoying cowbell'. Endorphine machine would have made a great opening track IMHO in the same style as Let's Go Crazy on PR.

Btw, other secret codes to be followed to fit in:-

- Must dislike Batman Soundtrack because of it's commercial background (as opposed to actually not liking the music!)

- Must like Parade album as it's a 'lost classic' (This album had potential to be great but honestly, it does miss the mark. Should have had extended 'Mountains' 'Another Lover' 'Kiss' etc included. plus great outtakes of the time.

any more suggestions?? ;o)
