I listened to this album today, and I think it s the worst thing he did

I listen to it all the time. It's not his best as a whole, but there are some strong cuts on it. It's FAR better than Diamonds and Pearls in my opinion.

it's definately not one of my favorites but i
enjoy it much more than the sunday school lessons
i'm gettin now. (goin here for a minute) minus the
"preachy, preachy, imma teachy"-ness of TRC, the
music is good. i sit back and wonder often if i will
ever ever hear a new Prince song. not the new Prince,
but the Prince that I and everyone else here has loved
for so many years. TRC is probably the #1 reason I have
become so fascinated lately with bootlegs.

i guess you could say that "chaos and disorder" and all
things pre-TRC sadden me a little cuz i know that i
will probably never hear anything quite as good again.

I agree Sandrined. Although there are a lot of songs on there that I like, I think it falls flat on its face as an album. It just has a bitter, dull aftertaste to it. Yuck! He should've made it more like "The Undertaker" and put songs like "Into the Light/I Will" and "Dig U Better Dead" on Emancipation.
