Prince will entertain the post-Emmy Revelers - Sunday, August 27, 2006 Sunday, August 27, 2006, ET's 10th Annual Emmy Awards Party - The post-Emmy bash is being held at the famed Asia de Cuba Restaurant and Skybar at the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood. PRINCE -- the featured entertainer -- who will get everybody partying as if it were 1999!

Sorry, but this guest list is lame. People magazine is little more than a tabloid with glossier photographs. I'm with Gohi & MinnieapolisGenius on this one...I'm completely ambivalent about this news. I don't even feel disappointed (as I did that he went on AI). I'm utterly baffled as to why the fuck he would want to perform at some party with a bunch of B-list celebrities. If he needs money for the divorce all he needs to do is release some outtakes or concert footage. 
The 3121 "experience" has been very bizarre--on one hand he was on shows like SNL & GMA that 'the masses' could see but then he has also been courting celebs and doing concerts that are very exclusive (purple ticket party, Butter, BET). I wish he'd just start the tour already!  | |
