5) Record a super-catchy, phenomenally produced, guitar
driven pop song that leaps out of your speakers

6) Make an expensive music video with someone like Spike
Jones that shows Prince in a whole new light

7) Promote the song everywhere - SNL, Today Show, radio

8) Launch a real, large-scale world tour

No need of "edgy producer" , he's got fabulous grooves "on the shelves", release it P please.. (before I'm old & too fat) , he could remaster "Wonderful Ass" + video + a good intelligent contract + promo & then make the whole planet dance

I totally agree with Jnoel. I have only one vault-related hope, and that is for "Wonderful Ass" to be released.

the way I look at it, I feel Prince does not have 2 prove anything 2 anyone anymore, BUT the most common reason Y geniuses/gifted artists, loose the "so called hunger" is because once they achieve what they were striving 4 they realize that the best achievement is from within and not "without"
then "poof" everything they thought inspired them is lost...

can Prince spell the sentence: "Regenerated Inspiration"

wouldn't it make sense if the following 2 the NewPowerGeneration would B called:

the New Regenerated Inspired Nation" ?

doesn't sound that great but it sure makes great sense 2 a few people I Know...

I agree to an extent. For example on the song; Dont Play Me/The Truth he says;

"You couldn't play enough of me now, to make me feel like a star, don't play me, I already do in my car...[continued]...I've been to the mountain top and it aint what you say, Dont play me..."

Not only is that telling me that he's 'Been there done that' but also he doesn't really care about being #1. There are some artistic negativities associated with being #1 these days. No disrespect to any of these artists, but lets look at who's #1: Britney Spears, NSYNC, Nelly, Ja Rule, Cash Money, Bow Wow, Romeo. Like I said much respect, because they all are hard-working artist. But most of them are missing that outright musical ability. I'm sure maybe most of them could, but I question the fact that if any of these individuals were sat down in front of a piano, could they make any kind of magic??

Children are the Music Industry's #1 target these days. Prince is very in-depth, his songs require careful thought and interpretation, some my require life experience. Something kids dont have. He would have to write a Bubble Gum Pop song, and I'm sorry, that would make me
