Rip the one track to your hard drive as a .wav file (yes, it'll be big), then use a .wav editor to chop it into tracks, then burn a CD with the newly seperated tracks. You could even normalize the levels or bring them up. There is no reason to pay anything for an import tracked version, unless, of course, you like throwing money away. That's what i did. Same with TRC download and all of the Audi Shows from last year. There are many free sound editor programs available for download that will do the job just fine. If you want, I can make you a copy of mine, Brian.

I live in the UK &
I've got the tracked & untracked versions. There is no real way to tell them apart, the tracked version still says "Songs are in a continuous sequence" on the CD. The only difference between the two I have is on the back cover in the top left hand corner there is the catalogue number. On the original untracked version this is written in script-like Lovesexy writing, and says 925 720-2 France WE 851 On the new tracked version this is written in a normal sans-serif font (like helvetica or arial), and says 7599-25720-2 WE 835 Whether this difference is a reliable way of distinguishing the two I can't say for certain, but is is the ONLY difference between the two I've got.

Damn! Gotta get me a tracked copy! I hate it I can't paly Anna Stesia on a continuous loop! Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)

I have the one track copy of Lovesexy, and damm it is annoying.
I have now made a tracked Minidisc copy (and it is easy peasy to make compared to tracking cdrs). I suppose I could go out and get the new tracked version...but I'm too cheap.

Tracking a cd is easy. Get cdwav at www.cdwav.com. it takes awhile to figure it out, but once you do, you can take any continuous wav and make into separate tracks, then put it together and burn the cd. That's how I tracked all the NPG ahdio shows. No skips in between tracks either. If you have any questions, just orgnote me and ask. I can do it for you too.

Oops, that link doesn't work. The software you want is called cdwav, anyway.

Any info is much appreciated.. -Brian When Lovesexy was originally released in the US it was only comercially available in a continuous track version. The only copies that were tracked at that time were the promo copies, which could be differentiated from the regular retail version by a promotional "DJ" sticker on the jewel case. However, a few years ago tracked versions were released throughout Europe by Warner Bros.

Anyone with a tracked version:
What's that music between GLAM SLAM and ANNA STESIA? Is it indexed as a SEGUE or is it part of one of the songs? Which one?

I made a new CDR of Lovesexy & trcked myself!
As for: PANDURITO said: What's that music between GLAM SLAM and ANNA STESIA? Is it indexed as a SEGUE or is it part of one of the songs? It is the end of the song Galm Slam, not a part in between. I have a copy of Lovesexy on vinyl and you can clearly see that the seperation groove between Glam Slam & Anna Stesia comes after that synth part has played out. To me it always seemed obvious that it was the end of Glam Slam. It is like the opening of the parachute after freefalling and Anna Stesia starts when the feet touch the ground Sometimes I like hearing Glam Slam with or without the little part at the end, so when I was making my new cd of Lovesexy, I put that little part on it's own track. Now I can program it out anytime I don't want to hear it! "Hyperactive when I was small, Hyperactive now I'm grown, Hyperactive 'till I'm dead and gone"

I tracked my own Lovesexy CD -- it's not difficult, especially if you have a Mac with SoundEdit or SoundStudio Pro. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

On the advise of our fellow Orger - Natsume - I went to Downloads.com and downloaded CDex (for free) which allows you to burn a partial track. That's how I cut apart my Lovesexy CD. By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!
