Yesterday, I heard Prince's version of 'Manic Monday' for the first time. I thought it was remarkably like The Bangles' version, with the exception of the bridge. I think the Bangles' version of the bridge is better arranged and just has so much better chord progression. Does anyone know who changed the bridge for the Bangles' version? Was it Prince himself, or another producer?

Well he gave them their break out hit. Walk like an Egyptian I think was a bigger hit. Eternal Flame was pretty big as well. I think both of those get played more than Manic Monday these days.
