Between the two, do you tend to like more of the heartfelt,spiritual,socially aware/political style songs by Prince (Adore,7,Sign O the Times,Pop Life,Race) or the more promiscuos,lustful,nasty songs by Prince(Head,Let's Pretend Were Married,Gett Off,U Got the Look).I'm sure there is a balance between the two for most people including myself but which side do most of your favorite Prince songs lie on? The "good"side or the "bad"?

I only see the "Good" Prince and the Confused about being good prince.

Nothing confusing about wanting to fuck the taste out of somebody's mouth or maybe it's just me

But to answer the question, I do prefer the 'bad' Prince.

It's weird, because I never thought of him as 'bad' Prince, I just thought he was being himself... It's a little bit like the 'goat boy' routine that Bill Hicks used to do; himself but salacious and challenging. That's why I liked Prince then... it's why I'm confused about him now.

I'll take him any way, but I prefer the 'bad' Prince, but never considered him bad, just a great musician. Also miss the celebrations, parties, aftershows, the communication that now seems dead. Actually, I think the now so called 'good Prince, dutiful JW is actually the bad Prince, because most everything that he gave to the fans is now gone.

good or bad are labels that we cr8 2 show division and cr8s separateness. let's look at Prince and ourSelves as fully integrated beings. ppl used to ask me why i would go 2 Prince shows when he was singing "sexy mf" listen to the words in sexy mf...they really are filled with light. in a word or 2, it's U eye want to do, not your body...your mind...U sexy mf...replace mf with Divine Mother. would ppl have listened 2 it as much or again judged him as going weird into religion?
