Apples and oranges to me, though both come from his ranty, noisy "Slave" period, where every other song was a dig at WB and he ended every song like it was the end of an Elvis concert or something...C&D has always sounded much more raw to me, almost kind of a Dirty Mind vibe at times...I've always preferred it to Gold, which seemed to me like kind of a swan song to his rock star excess...

C&D starts with just about the best track order ever. Not that the first three songs are stellar on their own, but they sound great as a beginning. The rest of the album is a travesty (I Rock, Therefor I Am?!? Please.) The Gold Album wins for simply being an enjoyable CD versus C&D.

Definitely the Gold Experience.
Most of Chaos and Disorder (with the exception of Zanalee) makes me sad. The negative energy radiates out of it, kinda like The Black Album.

The Gold Expierence, no doubt about it. I think Chaos and Disorder is one of his worst albums. --------------------------------------------------

TGE without a doubt. C&D did NOTHING for me.

Gold for me. "Chaos" was just not my style, nor was it his, but at least he tried. I have tried a few things musically that didn't work for me, but it's good to see if you can do it.

TGE is one my fave P CD's period. THe whole album works very well (however the NPG operator really gets on my nerves...I made a copy without he segues and that CD gets a lot more listens than the originial one).
C&D is not a bad little record. The beginning rocks hard...and I agree about the raw feeling. However "I Rock Therefore I Am" just sucks the big one so bad it kinda ruins the record for me. Every song on TGE is great imo.
