The same reason why Prince constantly makes new music because he gets bored with them, too. I can't wait 4 a new album in the fall...hopefully!!

I'm listening to 3121 now...but it's only cuz I got Incense and Candles stuck in my head. But I have had a break for a while now. Maybe like 2 - 3 weeks of nothing...But I was on Vacation.

I'm not really bored with his music, but bored with all the purposeful non activity. Really, I was really looking forward to this being another Princely year and it started that way...but quickly fizzled out. Heck, even Madonna has given me much more excitement that he did and her album came out last year. The best things so far have been the Black Sweat and Fury Picture Disc Vinyl that I have.

I never took off time from Prince. I just got into him. But I haven't gotten bored with him or any other singer I like.

I hate being bored with Prince, which I am right now, but I figure, after 20+ years of basically listening to him exclusively (minus listening to the radio and the occassional cd by someone else here and there), it was way beyond time for me to stop and listen to other things.

I have to say, Prince is still my favorite. NO OTHER musician fits me like Prince does.

I've been like this for a couple of months now. What I do is listen when I get a Prince song in my head, but otherwise, I'm listening to other musicians.
